Cancellation & Refund Policy

To verify your refund eligibility, please review the policy under the specific program you booked. Because Sci-Tech offers a wide variety of program types, your refund policy may differ from other bookings you’ve had with us in the past. If you are unsure which category your program falls under, details are included under each program subheading for clarification.

To request a refund, please contact our booking department as soon as possible at bookit@scitechdiscovery.org or 469-896-2188 x2. Once notified, the applicable policy below will be followed.

(Applies to Field Trips, Outreach, STEAM Nights, After-School Programs, and Private Workshops)

  • A non-refundable deposit, due no later than 30 days before the program, is required to cover booking costs and secure your program date.

  • The remaining balance (excluding the deposit) may be refunded up to 14 days prior to the program date.

  • Please refer to your invoice for complete guidelines.

(Applies to all parties, summer camps, spring break camps, & winter camps)

  • 14 days prior: Full refund available.

  • 48 hours prior: Eligible for a 50% refund or the option to reschedule within a 3-month period.

  • Within 48 hours: No refund available. Rescheduling is subject to availability and not guaranteed.

(Applies to all public workshops booked through our website, such as but not limited to Homeschool Classes, Derby Workshops, and other individual workshops)

  • 5 days prior: Full refund available.

  • After 5 days, there is no refund available.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and not guaranteed, but we will do our best to work with you.
