Director of Development
(Full-Time, 40 hrs/wk, $70K base salary + Benefits + Flexible Scheduling)
Full-time, Reports to Executive Director
The Director of Development is responsible for developing, leading and executing the museum’s comprehensive fundraising and advancement strategy. The position will have a primary focus on major gift fundraising along with individual and corporate giving, assisting with grant writing/tracking, and supporting membership growth/retention. (Applicants should have at least 5+ years of experience in a related field along with other qualifications listed in the full job description.)
Operations Coordinator
Part Time, 20 hrs/wk, $16/hr
The Operations Coordinator is a key member of the museum’s Operations Team and serves as one of the primary points of contact for guests, volunteers, and frontline staff. This highly interactive, customer-focused position is responsible for ensuring an exceptional visitor experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the museum.
Maker Studio Facilitator
(Candidates MUST have completed a Maker Studio Internship to apply.)
(Weekend Part Time, Average 12hrs/month, $14/hr + Flexible Scheduling)
Maker Studio Facilitor, Reports to Public Programs Manager and Maker Studio Coordinator, The primary duty of the Maker Studio Facilitator is to deliver high-quality STEM/STEAM programming to museum guests in Maker Studio. Other responsibilities include assisting with special events and grant-funded programs, facilitating community outreach, and supporting other education department programs.
Party Hosts
(Weekend Part Time, 3-12 hrs/wk, $10/hr + Flexible Scheduling)
Part-time science-themed birthday party host to work wekends. Potential for additional weekday hours based on performance. Seeking hires looking for long-term opportunities.
