Adult & Corporate Volunteers

Lend a hand at Sci-Tech Discovery Center and make an important difference to the thousands of children and families we reach each year. Volunteers are an essential part of the Sci-Tech team and we have opportunities to suit almost every schedule and interest.

Sci-Tech’s Adult volunteers have the opportunity to make an impact on the community by helping with general operations, specific programs, or museum enhancement projects. We appreciate any skills that you may be able to utilize in helping Sci-Tech be a fun place of learning for the community. Sci-Tech General Volunteer Requirements:

• Friendly and enthusiastic
• Reliable and flexible
• Provide a background check with criminal history (18+)*
• Willing to commit to the full set of hours specified by each shift
• Dressed appropriately

*Due to our limited budget Sci-Tech is not able to regularly pay for background checks for volunteers; they must be provided by the volunteers themselves. We can accept background checks done through your place of work or other programs as long as it was done no longer than 24 months before the volunteering date.
