Museum FAQs

General

We recommend 1 1/2- 2 hours at our museum. The floor is self-guided, hands-on, STEM exploration so you will be able to go at your own pace!

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Any unsupervised child under 16 will be escorted to the Explore Store and remain there until a parent or caretaker is located. The child will not be allowed to leave the Museum until a parent or caretaker is located.

We specialize in early learning and elementary-age students. Our recommended ages are 3-12 year olds. Different exhibits may have age restrictions that are posted on their signs. This is for the safety of both the guests and the exhibit. If you are unsure please ask a staff member for assistance.

No, to enter the Museum, your group must include a child. The museum is designed for children 0 to 12 years of age and their families. Children younger than 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Some events may be an exception to this policy and will be specified within the event information.

If you’re an adult without a child interested in visiting the Museum during regular business hours, you may schedule an appointment with a member of our management team. A valid ID or driver’s license must be presented upon arrival.

The best way to reach us is via email, but please don’t hesitate to call! Due to being a non-profit we only keep a small staff so that we can give as much back to the community as possible. We apologize if that means a delay in us answering any inquiries and we thank you for your patience.
