Daily Discoveries are FREE programs included with yourregular museum admission.  These hands-on experiences led by
museum educators are designed with students in K-5 in mind,
but are scalable for all ages!

March 29-April 1: Women in STEM
11AM- Genetic Research with Dr. Habiba Alsafar
1PM- Math & Chess with the Polgar Sisters

Sci-Tech’s Annual Brainiac Events are
BACK and BIGGER than EVER!

After our kickoff fundraiser event Thursday, we’ll be celebrating with the public both Saturday & Sunday. Stop by the museum to enjoy FREE hands-on experiments, activities and Wow! Live Science Shows all included with your regular museum admission. All activities will highlight women+ who have made important impacts in their fields of STEAM!

Wearable Tech & Sewn Circuits:
Engineer your own light-up, wearable creation!
Light Painting:
Explore art and science combined to make a dark room photo souvenir.
Drone Flying:
See if you can fly a drone* safely through a simple obstacle course.
Trivia Trail:
Go on a Science Scavenger Hunt as you search for clues around the museum and answer questions to win a prize!
Colorful Chemistry:
Learn how to create a “magic” chemical reaction that changes multiple colors.
Sound & Slime:
Discover how sound waves can create cool patterns and bring non-Newtonian fluids to life!
Downhill Derby:
Race a Pinewood Derby car and see how placement and amount of weights affects speed.
