to try hands-on projects related to Black STEM professionals all February! Build bridges and explore the world of civil engineering while learning about the first Black person to earn a civil engineering degree in the United States!

Saturday, 10AM – 4PM
Sunday, 12PM – 4PM

Activities are designed for ages 8+
(Younger students are allowed to participate with adult support and supervision.)

National Engineer’s Week: February 22nd – 28th

Learn how to create unique greeting cards and holiday cards using art, math, and engineering. Try different “pop-up” card techniques and then add an LED to make your creation light up!

EWeek Celebration

FREE Children’s Museum Admission Sponsored by Hour of Engineering!

We’re building the perfect celebration for National Engineers Week! Pop in the museum Saturday, February 28th from 10AM to 4PM for hands-on projects, crafts and challenges inspired by Hour of Engineering.

We’ll also have special guest engineering professionals from Infosys, BGE, the University of Texas at Dallas, and professional engineering organizations across North Texas, so you’ll have the opportunity to meet and ask questions to REAL engineers!

SPECIAL TRAVEL NOTICE:

There is major construction happening around the entrances to the parking lot. Please pay special attention to posted signage.

The best part? All activities are included FREE with regular museum admission!
