Sci-Tech is proud to offer FREE public programming with regular museum admission daily, as well as paid programs and special events.

Daily Discoveries

Weekdays at 11 AM & 1 PM
Daily Discoveries are run twice a day in 30-minute intervals at our Maker Studio. These hands-on activities are designed  to take 5 – 10 minutes for chidren ages 5 – 12 years of age. Some activities may require adult participation.

Maker Studio

Weekends from 10 AM - 4 PM
The Maker Studio hosts hands-on activities guided by our Maker Studio Interns. Activities usually take  5- 10 minutes and are deigned for children ages 7+ years of age. Some activities may require adult participation.

Monthly Public Event

Sci-Tech hosts a museum-wide event one day a month, usually on a Saturday. The event provides multiple hands-on activities throught the museum designed for extra family fun!

High School Volunteer Program

The high school volunteer program is a year round program that is deigned for students grade 9 – 12. Volunteers assist staff with maintaining, cleaning, and facilitating the museum floor during scheduled shifts.

Teen Internship Programs

Seasonal

Sci-Tech currently has two museum Intern programs that run in the spring, fall, and summer. These competitive programs accept a limited number of interns each term after multiple interviews.

Adult & Corporate Volunteer Program

Adult & corporate volunteers are accepted on a case-by-case basis for events & projects.

For the safety of the children in our museum a recent background check, provided by the volunteer, is required of anyone over the age of 18.

Skillshare Volunteer Program

The Skillshare volunteer program is designed for people who have a mastery of a skill and want to volunteer that skill. Volunteers are accepted on a case-by case basis for current and future projects.
