General Information:

This one-day Workshop will host two groups of individuals; (group 1) teenagers with physical disabilities, ages 14-17, who will be engaged hands-on with a STEM project, showcasing STEM-specific job readiness skills relative to the abilities of the individual.
For Students Ages 14 – 17
Our Maker Space workshops are ideal for students who love to tinker, disassemble, invent and create.  Students can use hand tools for big wooden builds, learn to code, assemble circuitry, engineer mechanical devices, and learn the languages of robots.

Parents

Parents/guardians of teenagers with physical disabilities, will be educated on resources, obstacles and opportunities for support and success of independence, in next-step life skills and job preparedness.  This work shop brought to you by Camp Craig Allen, in partnership with the University of North Texas, Texas Workforce Commission.
