Host Responsibilities
Our Explore Package is designed for families who want a more affordable way to celebrate while still enjoying a private party space at Sci-Tech Discovery Center. Since this package does not include a dedicated Party Host, the reserving adult will be responsible for managing the celebration and returning the room to its original condition.
A $50 refundable cleaning deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit will be returned after the party if the room is left in accordance with the guidelines below.
Before leaving, the party host is responsible for:
- Removing all decorations, gifts, personal belongings, and any items brought into the party room.
- Disposing of all trash, leftover food, and disposable party supplies in the provided trash receptacles.
- Removing any food, crumbs, spills, or other messes from tables, chairs, and the party area.
- Ensuring the room is left organized and ready for our staff to complete their standard cleaning and reset.
- Returning any Sci-Tech-provided items to their original location.
Sci-Tech staff will complete the standard cleaning and sanitizing of the party room after each reservation. The cleaning deposit may be used if additional cleaning is required beyond our normal reset process, including excessive food messes, decorations left behind, confetti, glitter, slime, sticky residue, or other materials requiring additional staff time to remove.
If additional cleaning is needed, the deposit will be applied toward the cleaning service fee. If no additional cleaning is required, the full $50 deposit will be refunded after the party.
